HOW MUCH DOES WINDOW REPLACEMENT COST?

While there is no hard and fast rule for estimating window replacement cost, windows that are priced ‘too good to be true’, may be. Look for windows with a mid-range price that provide the performance and durability you require.

Top 3 factors to consider:

A Beechworth window provides the best value in regards to price* and product performance.

SHOULD I REPLACE WINDOWS AND SIDING AT THE SAME TIME?

If you have the resources to do both, we say yes, here’s why.

  • Removing old siding allows for proper window flashing and insulation for optimal energy efficiency
  • If your siding needs replacement, faulty windows may be contributing to the problem and need replacement as well
  • Combining these projects may save you at least 10% helping to reduce window replacement costs

Windows are generally the first step in an exterior renovation project.

DO I NEED FULL FRAME OR INSERT INSTALLATION?

Three factors to consider:
  • Condition of your current window frame – a damaged window frame may need full frame install
  • Material of your window frame – vinyl or aluminum frames are likely to be damaged by insert window installation, requiring a full frame installation
  • Appearance of the window – an insert window does not disturb the interior and keeps the original trim while a full frame window allows more visible glass with updated trim
